Juanita González-Uribe

Juanita holds the position of Associate Professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Her research primarily revolves around entrepreneurship, innovation, and private equity. Notably, her contributions in these domains have been featured in esteemed academic journals such as the Review of Financial Studies and the Journal of Financial Economics.

Juanita has garnered recognition through various accolades, including the Jaime Fernandez de Araoz Prize for Best Paper in Corporate Finance, the Coller Prize Award, and the Kauffman Dissertation Award. Additionally, she has secured research grants like the NBER Innovation Policy Grant and the NBER Entrepreneurship Grant.

Juanita's academic journey includes earning a PhD in Finance and Economics from Columbia University. Before that, she completed a Master's in Economics and a Bachelor's in Economics and Mathematics at Universidad de los Andes in Colombia.

Daniel Perdomo

Daniel is passionate about driving climate action through expertise in decarbonisation management, climate finance, insurance and strategy.

Daniel has over twenty years of professional experience, over a decade of expertise in clean energy and climate finance consulting and four years in the insurance industry.

He has worked for a range of private and public sector organisations across Europe and the Americas, including Lloyd's, Carbon Trust, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), UNDP, Deposit Guarantee Scheme (FOGAFIN), KPMG and as an entrepreneur.

Daniel's educational background is diverse and includes an Executive MBA from Bayes Business School (formerly CASS) in London, a Master's in Public Administration from Columbia University in New York, specialising in energy and the environment, a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia, and more recently a certificate in sustainable finance from Cambridge University.
